there are so so many great lines in this song but for some reason "being happy is selfish" kills me the most. as far as other CXG songs, i think about "heavy boobs" quite often. and yes, patti lupone should be your rabbi.

Hah, I catch myself singing "I Have Friends" err...a lot. I was sold on CXG when Rebecca makes a comment on her date with Greg in season 1 and she says something about how once a week she googles the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, and literally that was exactly what I had open on my other tab, not sure if I've been so specifically seen by a tv show since. My general rule is that non-Jews get to play Jewish characters when I say so, lol. We can definitely keep Patti-as-Rabbi

"I Have Friends" CUTS DEEP! 😭 Yes, the show almost made me feel a little TOO SEEN at times. And that is a very good rule!!

I loved this show so much! But my favorite song is "Strip away my conscience" 😂 I'm a fan of musicals like "Chicago".

But "Remember that we suffered" it's like a hymn of all meetings in main synagogue of my hometown. 😅

I think it's not a problem if Jewish character is played by non-Jewish actor if it is done with proper respect. And Patti Lupone was absolutely awesome in this role! We all need rabbi like this 🥰

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is my favorite show ever and “Remember That We Suffered” is without a doubt my favorite song in the show.

Patti LuPone should keep playing Jewish roles, but maybe I’m biased because I’m her #1 fan and I love her in every Jewish role she’s played. I would let her be my rabbi any day.
