I’m for that spin off. He deserves better and I want to see him get what he deserves. Also, watched the entire show in 2 days. Couldn’t stop.

It's the perfect binge! I just need more Max Greenfield in my life, it's sad thinking he might not be around for season 2.

Need to find the time to watch this one! Love Kate Hudson and pretty much anything Mindy Kaling creates.

It's really delightful! I'm watching too many nerve-wracking things right now so it is nice to have this as just something that's both easy to watch and well-made!

I do think he's too much of a "NJB" for Isla. I think at the end of the "Beshert" episode, she was ready to break things off with him but chickened out because he was so sweet. I have my thoughts about "the shiksa" term and its placement here as I did in "Nobody Wants This" as you are well aware, so meh to all that.

Did you hate "shiksha" more here or in "Nobody Wants This?" It's interesting because it is a bit of the inversion of the Jewish women representation there — Noah wants the non-Jewish woman because she's more fun and easy, Isla doesn't want the NJB because he's too nice.

In both shows the Jewish guy is NJB (and arguably too much so). I found Isla’s character more sympathetic and I think that’s down to Kate Hudson and the writing. While both the Kristen Bell character and Isla are not considering what conversion means st at a deeper spiritual level, at least Isla is seeing the pragmatic elements. They are also at a more mature point in their relationship and have a learned understanding of one another from years together.
