On Kveller we occasionally publish articles about writers’ favorite Jewish TV characters — from Sam on “Better Things” to Wendy Goldberg from “The Goldbergs” to Mike Myers’ Linda Richman on “Saturday Night Live.” (For some reason no one has written about their love for Ross Geller yet 🤔) It’s always fun to hear about the characters that helped you understand yourself or made you feel seen as a Jew.
So let’s open that discussion up here! In the comments, tell us about your favorite Jewish television character. We’ll start:
Lior: This is like asking me my favorite child!! But I love a complex Jewish mom character. Robin Weigert’s Nechuma and Hadas Yaron’s Mila in “We Were the Lucky ones.” Lizzy Caplan’s Libby in “Fleishman Is In Trouble.” Netta Riskin’s Giti in “Shtisel.” I love them all.
Daci: This is controversial, but I loved Ben Gross in “Never Have I Ever.” Is he also the worst Jewish representation on TV?” Maybe! Do I still love him? Yes.
Molly: Justice for Shoshanna Shapiro from “Girls.” I think she was lowkey the funniest — and most reasonable — of all the Girls and I love hearing her talk about summer camp. I’d also like to shout out two Jewish quasi-villains that I find just delightful: Paris Geller from “Gilmore Girls” and Lilith from “Cheers” and “Frasier.”
OK, your turn. Let us know who your favorite is in the comments!

Toby Ziegler from the West Wing!
I know that Grand Shaud is not Jewish, but I always loved Miles Silverberg's character!
